The issue we are experiencing today is no longer just a gender issue, it is a question of values and feminine values are for everyone and really need to be rescued.

The difference between a patriarchal and a matriarchal model is not similar, they are profoundly different and diametrically opposed.

It seems a little more evident today that we accept that something in our nature moves and motivates us, and that illness is either an identification with this 'something' or a denial of this 'something' that we can call the image of God.

Well, in matriarchy the image of God is feminine, and the feminine was built over thousands of years as that which nourishes and cares, that which gives life can only be feminine mainly by our ancestors , therefore in a matriarchal society the fundamental pillar would be care above all, community and welcoming.

In this type of society, women have their space because their individuality is respected and their natural cycles are understood, freedom and freedom of expression are prioritized, and most importantly, feelings, in addition to not being questioned, are lived together.

The house belongs to the matriarch and everyone collaborates and listens to her, and she is fully aware of her responsibility, that's why she works hard, and that's why the territory does not accumulate or expand indiscriminately as it would in a patriarchal community, because more territory means more work and its value is not based on work but on relationships.

Now I ask you, are Brazilians more patriarchal or more matriarchal in their psychology? Mainly given that the vast majority of Brazilians are raised by their mothers and grandmothers, that in education we have a greater number of female teachers than men, and that care is internalized in the feminine.

Although we tend to believe that we live in an exclusively patriarchal system, I often wonder how true this is? Obviously the social structure is patriarchal, discriminatory, rigid and moral, but in their soul Brazilians are more open, affectionate, open to differences, that is the essence.

Within our psyche we will always have a great image of an omnipresent and omnipotent God that was imposed on us by outsiders, but we also have a Goddess who nourishes and protects us in the best possible way, who reinvents herself as many times as necessary to take care of her children. children.

Both matriarchy and patriarchy are part of our formation as individuals and as a species, which is why I believe that in order to live more and more in peace and to be able to unite both forces, we need to become aware that the evil of patriarchy lives in every man and woman in the world. land, and that matriarchy also has its limitations and difficulties.

What we often leave aside is our humanity in an internal struggle, where I am angry at that man who abandoned me, who didn't accept me, who abused me, and I forget to look at where it matters most, my relationship with this woman. inner image of God, which I deny in myself, and therefore will subjugate me until I learn to look at it, that I contour and form, that I understand that we walk together, side by side, man and woman.

So that at this moment I can ask myself with an open heart: What does the world really need more of? Territorial expansion and exploratory growth or is it love and care?

I leave here a documentary in 4 parts that really inspired me to raise these questions and I highly recommend it:

And to feed the Brazilian soul with music from our African ancestry recognized by German musician Rainer Scheurenbrand:
